Project Management

Actionline offers full project management or can handle any one of the 10 stages of a project a client may choose to contract out.

Research Planning

Actionline can listen to your problem or issue and take a brief, then translating this into a plan of action or Research Proposal with suggestions as to how specific objectives could be met.

Desk Research

Before embarking on costly primary research, maximum use should be made of existing information - whether inside the organisation or from external sources.

Identifying potential target respondents

The success of a project depends on obtaining feedback or input from the correct respondents. This Sample could include customers, lost customers, potential customers, intermediaries, advisors, industry experts or others.

Recommendations

Research findings alone are only helpful in developing strategy if someone pulls out the implications and makes recommendations which can be incorporated into future plans. The strength of using an external provider such as Actionline to undertake your research is the perspective and experience that can be brought to your organisation when interpreting the findings.

Questionnaire Design

Collecting useful and usable information is dependent on asking the right questions and designing the data collection tool or questionnaire is critical to success.

Data Analysis

You may wish to handle the data analysis internally or to have this done by the external provider.

Pilot survey

Before committing to a large scale piece of research, you may wish to run a trial or a pilot exercise to establish whether the information required can be pulled together.

Written Report

It is always good to ensure there is written documentation of the research findings- both for clarity of communication and to act as a lasting record.

Fieldwork

The data collection stage of the project is a part that you may wish to handle yourself or may prefer to contract out to Actionline who can conduct interviews online, by telephone or face to face.

Presentation of Findings

To ensure buy-in to the research results it is useful to share the findings internally and there can be value in having this done by an independent third party such as Actionline.
